Lunch at Neil’s Kitchen

We went to S&R last weekend for groceries and after that, we ate lunch. Our go-to restaurants at Westgate Alabang are Kanin Club and Alba’s so for a change we tried Neil’s Kitchen. Well, it is not a new restaurant because they started operating in year 2015 but it was only last weekend that we paid a visit.

The restaurant has a unique look both exterior and interior so very Instagrammable. There was an event during our visit so the second floor was occupied. This is the third floor where we ate.

The staff gave us a one-page menu and we asked if the food was good for sharing. Yung specialties daw, good for one person so we ordered Sinigang Paella with Grilled Pork Belly PHP395, Bagoong Paella with Kare-Kare PHP395, Boneless Chicken Barbeque with Java Rice PHP395, Bottomless Iced Tea PHP95, and Dalandan Juice PHP95.

When the staff served our meal, we were all shocked kasi ang laki ng serving. I already have a feeling na hindi namin mauubos. I liked my Kare-Kare because you can really taste the peanut sauce pero medyo napaalat lang ng konti yung Bagoong Paella but I will still order this if ever we return. The Sinigang Paella with Grilled Pork Belly is just okay for us, medyo nasobrahan kasi sa grill yung pork. My son enjoyed the Boneless Chicken pero nahirapan siya ubusin, yung chicken parang hawig yung lasa sa Aristocrat.

Buti na lang, we did not order dessert kasi hindi namin naubos yung meal namin. If ever we will go back, we will order two meals and extra rice na lang. Kasi yung serving nila, hindi namin kaya ubusin. Service is fast and good.
