My husband was on business trip last week, he went to Malaysia then to Singapore. He took Singapore Airlines from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore. They (Boss and hubby) had an evening flight but since they arrived early at the airport, they tried to reschedule their flight.
When my husband checked his reservation, he was surprised because he was on waiting list on his original flight. That was his first time to experience it, so totoo pala yung mga naooverbooked? Good thing they arrived early and his boss was able to reschedule their flight without a fee. What if hindi, naiwan pa asawa ko sa airport?
Thanks to his boss again, he was able to stay in Silver Kris Lounge. My husband has Silver Kris card but since he is not a frequent flyer of Singapore Airlines, he is not yet qualified for lounge access. Buti na lang +1 siya ng boss niya. The lounge is exclusive for Singapore Airlines.
The Silver Kris Lounge is just small he even compared it to the Mabuhay Lounge in Cebu International Airport. But nothing to complain because this is better than staying at the boarding gate. They have comfortable seats, complimentary food and drinks, you can watch TV or read magazines and newspapers.
He already tried the Plaza Premium Lounge at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, you can check my review here ---> Glimpse of Plaza Premium Lounge.

Seriously, it is only through your post that I got to see and feel the different airport lounges around the world. And I must say I am enjoying it. Gives me an idea how each value their customers...
ReplyDeleteI have heard the Singapore Airlines is one of the best airline you can try. Looks like the lounge is another plus if you fly with them too. It makes your airport experience a nicer one than staying in boarding gates.
ReplyDeleteWow. I wouldn’t mind having a delayed flight with this cozy airport lounge. Comfy seats and complimentary food and drinks while watching tv? YAY!
ReplyDeleteHaving access to airline lounges is really a luxury. The regular waiting areas (at least in our own airports) are far from comfortable and kid friendly. I’ve only tried the Cathay Pacific Business Class Lounge and it was amazing! And of course, buffet meana yehey! Hahaha!
ReplyDeleteWow! Angtaray ng lounge nila sis!
ReplyDeleteI love reading your posts dahil madami rin ako nadidiscover na places 🙂
Ok, I completely agree with Berlin! haha. I've never been to any lounge so thanks to your posts. Hanggang boarding gate lang kami, lol! Ang bobongga siguro ng mga andito, hehe.
ReplyDeleteThanks to all! Twice pa lang din ako nakapaglounge so sa photos and kwento lang ni hubby ko nakikita yung iba’t ibang lounge. Hehehe!
