Whenever my husband goes to Malaysia, I can’t help myself but worry because he always ride Malaysian Airlines. I can’t forget the news about the missing Malaysian Airlines flight 370 and the Malaysian Airlines flight 17 that was shot down a few years ago so nakakaparanoid talaga.
We were glad when Philippine Airlines announced that they already have flight from Manila to Kuala Lumpur so he chose this flight on his recent business trip. And because of that, he was able to stay in Plaza Premium Lounge in Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
Who has Access to Plaza Premium Lounge?
You may relax in Plaza Premium Lounges if you are Mabuhay Miles Elite, Premier Elite and Million Miler. If you are not a member but you have a Business Class ticket you can access the lounge for FREE.
Domestic Lounges
International Lounges
The lounge is big and it offers comfortable seats, hot meals, hot and cold beverages, wifi, TV and even shower facilities. Like other airport lounges, the view is the airport runway. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

I feel bad for Malaysian Airlines. haha To have created this stigma among passengers. I've tried Malaysian airlines back in high school I loved it. Even the airport was really good. By the way, I love the lounge. Looks perfectly relaxing. =)
ReplyDeleteTrue, pag may mga ganyan na news, nakakaaffect talaga sa business.
DeleteThat was one tragedy that most of us can't forget talaga. Nakakapanglumo. So I can understand the trauma. Sino nga ba naman ang hindi, no? I'm glad there's an alternate airline na. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, good thing PAL has flight na to KL. :)
DeleteNakakatuwa these airport lounges you are sharing, Michi. I didnt know at first na we can try it pala since I thought only the rich people get to try lounges.
ReplyDeleteKorek, akala ko rin rich people lang ang pwede pero you can access din pala if you have loyalty card sa airlines.
DeleteIt's nice to know that you husband can take PAL na so you won't have to worry about his safety. There's no price for peace of mind. It's always fun to stay in lounges because you feel pampered before your flight. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, lounges gives you comfort while waiting for your flight. :)
DeleteThis airport lounge looks bigger than the others you've featured before. Good to know that your husband can now take PAL going to KL. If I were in your case, I would be worried too if my hubby had to take Malaysian Airlines.
ReplyDeleteTrue, my husband said that the lounge is bigger compared to other lounges that he tried. Nakakaparanoid talaga!
DeleteThis lounge looks very high-end. I havent been to a lot of airport lounges so thank you for featuring them here in your blog. Actually I get pretty nervous din whenever somebody in our family flies, we can never tell kasi.
ReplyDeleteYes, kakaparanoid minsan.
DeleteThat's one serious premium lounge! I've never ridden business class before haha so I've never stepped inside any kind of premium lounge. I'm glad there are PAL flights na to Kuala Lumpur.
ReplyDeleteAng mahal kasi ng business class fare. Economy ticket lang si hubby but thanks to loyalty card, he has free access to lounge.
DeleteWhen we went to Malaysia, we opt for Air Asia. Their services were ok and the flight attendants were really very attentive. It was, I believe, the time of the Malaysian airline chaos, too. Great that PaL has flights to Kuala Lumpur.
ReplyDeleteWe also tried Air Asia before, okay naman experience din namin.
