My husband went to Vietnam and Thailand last week so he took Thai Airways for this business trip. He is not a frequent flyer of this airline so he has no free lounge access in NAIA 1. Thank God for his credit card, he can stay in Miascor Lounge for FREE.
He needs to take advantage of the free lounge access because Citibank does not waive the annual fee for this specific card. They waive our other cards except for this one kasi marami na daw siya benefits. We just used our points to pay for the annual fee but we’re still thinking if we will continue this card next year.

Anyway, when he went to Miascor Lounge, the staff informed him that they could no longer accommodate him, puno na daw kasi. So he was transferred to Club Manila Lounge. Yey!
The Miascor Lounge is bigger than Club Manila Lounge but it was not crowded. My husband likes the service here, according to him “maasikaso” daw ang staff. After registering, the staff ushered him up to his seat. They will be the ones, who will find available seats for you. Base on our experience sa Miascor, bahala ka maghanap ng upuan mo, which is common naman sa ibang lounges.
When it comes to food and drinks, it is the same as other lounges. Limited selection but it is enough to fill your hungry tummy. Free wifi too.

We haven't tried the lounges in NAIA pa, though we want to try it. Is it pricey? The food is included naman in the lounge payment, no? Do they have sleeping quarters? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteIt is free.
DeleteIt's really cool that during your travels you and your family get to try the different airport lounges. It beats waiting at the usual waiting areas.
ReplyDeleteYes, my husband can try different lounges so far, 2 pa lang natry ko. :)
DeleteI never knew about these lounges until I read this post of yours. May mga ganun pala? Parang pang-VIP lang ang mga yan hihi. But anyway, your husband's a frequent flyer kasi and lucky for him, he gets to try different lounges. The place looks more relaxing.
ReplyDeleteHindi rin ako aware before hanggang sa natry ko. hehehe! Yes, perks of frequent flyer.
DeleteMaasikaso nga. Even finding a seat for you is an excellent customer service already. Love the free wifi and of course, food. Ihihi.
ReplyDeleteYes, I hope all lounges are like that but most of the time, they just let you find your seat. :)
DeleteOh wow, nice naman na hinanapan pa ng seat. I've not experienced this yet, but looking forward to it one day.
ReplyDeleteAsk k lng. Nag-close na yn MIASCOR lounge last April, etong Club Manila lounge na open pa or nagsara din?
