No classes last Wednesday because of Eid’l Ftr so we have no homework. Even it was a holiday, my son cannot use the Ipad because we have rules in the house “No Ipad from Monday to Friday” so even it is holiday, sembreak or summer vacation, he is not allowed to use it.
And because of this rule, I have to make sure that my son has something to do at home so he will not complain, “I have nothing to do”or “I’m bored”.
Last Wednesday, he finally uses the Clay Tools and Clay Sheet that I bought in Japan last summer. I was glad I found the clay sheet so no more sticky floors. My son can roll his clay or play dough on this clay sheet. The clay tools are easy to store because the rolling pin serves as a tool case.

My kids used to like playing with clay. Sometimes, Angel and Janel still do. I like the idea of the clay sheet. It helps prevent leaving any mess on the table or floor.
ReplyDeleteYes, clay sheet is really a must to avoid sticky floors or table. :)
DeleteGood parenting! Kids now a days should limit the use of gadgets and spend more time with real toys :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes, we need to limit the use of gadgets. :)
DeleteMy toddler loves clay, It is better for him to play clay than toys because it always end up destroying his toys.
ReplyDeleteHehehe! Some toys don't last talaga for toddlers. :)
DeleteWow. My nephew loves play dough and this is perfect for him kasi kung san san siya naglalaro ang kalat niya tuloy lols. My sister-in-law will definitely love this, bawas linisin hehehe.

Yay for a good way to express creativity!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure once my firstborn is out, I will be stocking with learning toys like this play dough. Of course, not until she's a little older.
ReplyDeleteI also limit my kids electronics activity, I let them play outside pretty much but this play dough activity sounds fun Sis, lalo na pag umuulan. Thank you for sharing:)

Nate loves to play play dough as well, pero may mga times na di nya feel, maglaro. depende lang sa mood. lol. But Play doughs are really awesome.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter used to love playing with clays but I guess she's outgrown clays and prefers other toys.
