My friend gave me Garlic Salt and Italian Seasoning last week so I decided to have roast chicken and beef steak this week. I already cooked roast chicken last Tuesday but when I saw our beef steak, it was cut like breakfast steak or bistik tagalog. Waah, my husband thought I will cook bistik tagalog.
You might be wondering why I was shocked when I saw the beef. Well, I’m so blessed to have a husband who goes to the wet market every weekend to buy our weekly stock. All I need to do is write our menu and things to buy. He will asked the vendor to cut the meat according to our menu.
So I have no idea about the current price in the market, feeling ko tumataas kasi konti sukli or wala na sukli after mamili. Hehehe! Anyway, because the cut is to thin, I decided to cook steak bites instead.
I sliced the beef into bite sized, seasoned with garlic salt and cracked pepper. Melt the butter in a pan and make sure you cook the meat in high heat. Cook according to your degree of doneness.
My photo doesn’t give justice because it looks like beef tapa hehehe! But my family loves it.

The steak bites look so delicious. You are so lucky to have a husband who goes to market. I wish my husband would do that, too.
ReplyDeleteIt looks delicious. I used to make pork steak bites instead of beef.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter love beef a lot and this recipe of yours appears to be simple and easy to prepare, I want to give it a try. Thanks for sharing. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, kudos to your husband for going to the supermarket. I remember when my mom asked my dad to come home with spring onions and he came home with regular onions. Hehe. Thanks for sharing this recipe, will suggest this to my mom. :)
