I’m always late in putting up our Christmas tree because we live in a small house so nasisikipan ko pag may Christmas tree. My son wanted to have Christmas tree as early as November but I have to delay it.
Finally, we put up our tree last Sunday, it is our family tradition that we build it all together. I did not buy any new decoration this year, our tree is already 5 years old and my ornaments are three years old.
I don’t really change my theme every year because ornaments are not cheap. I don't have enough space to store them and lastly, I can save money if I will reuse.

nice tree you got there. i wanted so much to get one for us, but it's just me and my one year old at our unit.. and you know how babies this age are... a bit scared of small items, and the glittery ones... and most importantly i dont want her dad to miss out on the fun part of putting up a tree.. like u said it's a family thing.. so i'd rather wait for the right time for us....
ReplyDeleteWe have decided to tone Christmas decorations this year. My boys now 6 and 10 are not very excited about puttig up a tree either.
ReplyDeleteI haven't put up a tree in almost 15 years I think. I don't know where to store it because we don't have much space. :(
ReplyDeleteNice tree! I would've loved for our tree to look like this - yung maraming decorations - but alas, nakikitira pa ako sa parents ko so... :|
ReplyDeleteDid you get the christmas balls from S&R? I like it :)
ReplyDeleteI always make it a point to put up a Christmas tree. I want my girls to get used to this kind of tradition just like I did. My husband kasi, he's not into the tree and decorations so I took the initiative na :)
Yes, I bought my ornaments there. :)
DeleteI'm like your husband because I'm not into decorations too but husband loves to buy Christmas decors. :)
I love the snowman Christmas balls! They're so different from the usual plain ones. :)
ReplyDeleteWe are not putting up a tree here in our place because we are spending the holidays in Bacolod. When we do, it's usually on September :)
ReplyDeleteWe just our christmas tree up today! :) Kids were ecstatic with the lights and of course, the balls! Nice and simple lang our tree this year.:)
ReplyDeleteYou have really cute ornaments. I wanna try that too, using stuffed toys as ornaments.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteFor this year, we did not put any Christmas decor. I like your Christmas Tree. Merry Christmas dear!
ReplyDeleteCute ornaments :) Nako, hopefully I could find a cheap yet sturdy Christmas tree. Ever since the Ondoy kasi, we weren't able to get a new tree yet. T_T
ReplyDeleteI bought mine at National Bookstore, so far ok pa rin.
