Only three days left and we have to say goodbye to 2014 and say hello to 2015. But before that I want to share how did we celebrate the holiday. Honestly, I love this holiday season because of the long non-working days. I can’t remember yung last na may mahaba na vacation. So even we have no travel trip, I’m still happy because walang pasok si hubby so we have more family time.
We always have simple Christmas celebration, my husband invited again my in-laws to have lunch in our place last December 24. It started last year so I think this will be a yearly thing. I only cooked Roast Chicken, Salted Egg Shrimp, Ham, Brownies and Buko Pandan good for 12 persons. Ooops, hindi pala buko pandan kasi wala buko, Nata de Coco + Green Gulaman lang pala laman. Lol I prepared small prizes for our mini raffle and we had exchange gift worth P100.
Our family of three had early dinner because my son was so excited to open his gifts.
The following day, we went to church in Tagaytay and had breakfast in Breakfast at Antonio’s. We went home immediately because we wanted to avoid the traffic. How about you, how did you celebrate your Christmas?
I also love the holidays, especially this year, because I have a two-week vacation. Yay! I'm usually out of the house for at least 10 hours to work so the chance to bond with my daughter and the partner (who still has to work, call center kasi) is something I have been looking forward for months.
Mas masaya ang pasko pag madami ang nagcecelebrate kaya ok na magiging tradition na sainyo MIL mo. The happiest of all si Ethan, dami gifts!
We were also in Tagaytay on the 25th, we were there early too para iwas sa traffic kaya lang 2PM pa check-in time kaya ikot muna, then heavy traffic na. Waah!
Would you believe we were sending out gifts on the 24th? My daughter opened her gifts on Christmas eve and we slept early. The next day we were at my father's side of the family then dinner in one of the new restaurants in QC.
We enjoy Christmas a lot since we celebrate with both my family and my hubby's family, on the 24th and then on then on the 15th:-) We both have a big extended family, tiring but fun.
Your dishes looks yummy especially the roasted chicken :) We celebrated christmas by cooking my favorite crispy cream dory and grilled liempo. ^^
ReplyDeleteI love grilled liempo but I dislike the grilling task. :)
DeleteWe fell asleep on the 24th and had lunch at a restaurant on the 25th lol... must be fun to celebrate in the more traditional sense :)
ReplyDeleteChristmas Eve for us is a family gathering also. Cheers! - edel
ReplyDeleteAng sarap nang food! Nagutom tuloy ako.

Yes, bihira ang mahabang bakasyon. :)
