J&A Fishpen is a very popular restaurant in Camiguin so do not leave the island without trying this restaurant. All kinds of seafood are fresh because they have their own fish ponds where you can choose your own fish, shells, or other seafood and cook it the way you want it.
If you’re not fond of seafood, don’t worry because there are non-seafood dishes too. The price is really affordable. No food pictures because we were really hungry after our tour. We ordered grilled bangus, grilled liempo and steamed halaan. It is very near Benoni Port so you can drop by upon arrival or before departure. This was our last stop before we left Camiguin.

ReplyDeleteI really wanted to try that kind of resto where you can actually choose a fish you want to eat and they will cook it for you straight from the pond. Nice set of pictures. Too bad camiguin is quite too far from me.
ReplyDeleteFor this reason we can assure the freshness of the fish. great idea!

I super love seafood despite my seafood allergies. I don't think I'll be visiting Camiguin any time soon, pero when I do, I won't miss J&A Fishpen :)
ReplyDeleteI like it fresh from the pond.manamis namais pa ang sea food.I only get to eat fresh fish here when hubby is fishing and if not I just buy the frozen ones.
ReplyDeleteit looks like it will be quite an experience to eat there .. food and experience is what I look for ...
ReplyDeleteNow you go fishing. What a trip... for a sea foods. J&A fishpen, the fishes, the sea foods are all fresh. They're great to eat especially when you're going to grill them and eat them while they're still hot. You can really savor their real taste.
ReplyDeleteI know this place but never tried it for the last 3 trips me and my family have had to Camiguin. And we usually don't make a stop at Benoni port. Maybe next time I can suggest this to the family.
ReplyDeletefan ako ng seafoods, it reminds me of eating at the palaisdaan restaurants. lavet ang sarap lang magfoodtrip
